Song of the Day: Of Monsters and Men - Dirty Paws
I was very confused when I heard that Icelandic indie-poppers Of Monsters and Men, who were featured in this week’s Future Pop, were not releasing their online/US hit Little Talks as their first UK single. However, it all made sense when I heard the lovely song they are releasing instead. I’m already imagining an adorable video too.

Song of the Day: Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks
I love a good male/female duet and this one is quite lovely. I do feel like I’ll get bored of it fairly quickly, but I can imagine it being a hit. And it seems Universal Republic (one of the American divisions of Universal) agree with me, as they’ve just signed Of Monsters and Men. Little Talks is a couple of years old, but it’s getting an increasing amount of attention so a re-release seems like the obvious plan. It’ll be nice to have a new Icelandic group on the scene, if only so we get to hear them speaking English in an Icelandic accent, possibly most delightful accent in the world.
